Using the plant as a way to visualize money assets and flows
Money flows: The roots are nutrient connectors.
Endowments or savings: Stocks or assets are nutrient collectors underground such as potatoes or balls of nutrients.
Revenue: The foliage of the plant that gets in new nutrients and assets. So if you have a huge coverage of plants than span the ground or a forest of trees.
Comparisons
So now I can use these concepts to compare the financial properties of certain parts of society.
