🔮 What is a marble?

In my world, a marble is a metaphorical container for a note that I want to share and shape with you. It can be a sketchy idea, an insight, a piece of knowledge, or a question that I consider valuable for my life's ongoing dialogue.

These marbles are never perfect and always a snapshot of a given moment. So, please, feel free to add your perspective at the ⬇️ bottom of the page. I try to follow the 🔮 principles for media movement building.

Lake Merritt Set in the sunshine with three friends on the ground

It was quite a different experience to DJ sitting on the ground together. When someone felt the energy rise, they would rise. Otherwise, we felt a comfort and slowness from stretching on the ground & looking at the lake.

Usually, DJing is done standing. It makes it very official, almost institutional. A big table, a divider between the dancing ones and the choosing ones. This felt different. I felt that my friends who knew less about DJing felt less intimidated by the Tech Institution in front of them – because on the ground.
